Casa Palacio Siolim House

Siolim House is a 350 year old Palacio from the earliest times of the Portuguese occupation of Goa, beautifully restored as a home which it still is, but now doubles as a private seven room heritage boutique hotel in Goa.

It is one of the very few examples of the most aristocratic late 16th century casa do sobrado style of Goa-Portuguese architecture in North Goa, and once was the home to the governor to Macau, and a family of administrators that included another governor to Mozambique. We are classified a Heritage Boutique Hotel in Goa by the Dept of Tourism. We are situated in the quiet coastal village of Siolim, Goa and are perfectly placed for the lovely beaches just to the north of Morjim Ashwem and the action of the Candolim - Calangute - Baga - Anjuna stretch to the South.

In 2001, Siolim House was a finalist for the UNESCO Heritage Prize, which considered its exceptional history and the work we did to restore this building. In 2009 we completed a second renovation to bring back more detail and more features to this heritage hotel in Goa.
