The feast of Our Lady of Bethlehem is celebrated on the first Sunday in January, after the Feast of the three kings. The miraculous cross the shrine of the holy cross is what makes Bambolim famous all over Goa. It is an unassuming cross, which is supposed to have been built about 50 years ago. Who built it is still a matter of curiosity and the reason behind is equally mysterious.
