Ingredients :
500 gms. Prawns (shelled and deveined)
4 slices bread (soaked in water)
4 tbsps. Grated coconut
1" ginger and 5 flakes garlic
½ tsp. Chilly powder
½ tsp each of pepper and turmeric powder
2 green chilies (chopped)
2 tbsps. Lemon juice or vinegar
oil
Preparation :
Boil the prawns in half a cup of water until the water dries. Squeeze out the water completely from the bread. Mix all the ingredients (expect oil ) together with half a teaspoon salt. Grind or blend in mixie. Shape into cutlets and fry till light brown.
Note: fresh galmbo(fine shrimps) can also be used in the preparation of cutlets.
